The business environment in Myanmar and around the world is undergoing rapid and fundamental change, creating new market realities, opportunities, and challenges. As today’s learners prepare to become tomorrow’s managers, entrepreneurs, and organizational leaders, they need to develop the ability to adapt to uncertainty, embrace innovation, and respond flexibly to changing circumstances. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed with this context in mind. The programme examines the nature and implications of changes in the contemporary business environment while developing the knowledge, practical skills, critical thinking, leadership capabilities, and professional values required to manage organizations effectively in an increasingly complex, dynamic, and unpredictable world.
Bachelor of Arts in Social and Development Studies

Bachelor of Arts in Social and Development Studies The Bachelor of Arts in Social and Development Studies (BASDS) is an interdisciplinary program designed to equip students with broad knowledge, practical skills, and critical perspectives to understand and respond to contemporary social, economic, organizational, and technological challenges. The program encompasses four complementary streams: Business and Finance; Organizational Development and Community Development; Social Sciences and Humanities; and Information Technology, enabling students to develop a multidisciplinary understanding of society and development. A defining feature of the BASDS is its emphasis on learning through practice and real-world engagement. Students undertake Service Learning, Community Development Projects, Field Visits, and a three-month internship with NGOs and civil society organizations, gaining firsthand experience in professional and community settings. The program culminates in a research thesis, enabling students to investigate issues relevant to their communities and wider society. Through this combination of interdisciplinary study and experiential learning, the BASDS develops graduates with strong research, communication, leadership, problem-solving, project management, and community engagement skills. It prepares students for careers in development organizations, NGOs, civil society, business, education, research, technology, and public and private institutions, while providing a strong foundation for postgraduate study.
Bachelor of Arts in Social and Development Studies (Top-up)

The Bachelor of Arts in Social and Development Studies (Top-Up) develops advanced knowledge and practical skills in contemporary social and development issues. The programme covers Project Cycle Management, Advanced Research and Data Analytics, Development Policy and Governance, Sustainable Livelihoods, Monitoring and Evaluation, Community Development, Human Rights and Social Justice, and Strategic Development Management. Through applied research, project-based learning, and evidence-based analysis, students develop the capacity to design, manage, evaluate, and lead effective development initiatives.
Bachelor of Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a three-year undergraduate programme designed to equip learners with the knowledge, practical skills, analytical capabilities, and professional competencies required for effective management and leadership in contemporary organizations. The programme combines academic and research skills with core business disciplines, including the business and economic environment, quantitative methods, financial accounting, management accounting, financial management, financial reporting, financial planning and control, human resource management, leadership and team management, business strategy, corporate and business law, business performance measurement, financial securities markets, audit and assurance, investment and risk management, social entrepreneurship, business start-ups, and a business research project. A distinctive feature of the programme is its integration of digital business and information technology, enabling students to apply technology and data to real-world business challenges through modules such as Digital Marketing, Sales Techniques and Business Processes, Marketing Automation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) using platforms such as Odoo, website development using WordPress, low-code application and digital design development using Canva, and Data Visualization and Business Analytics using Tableau and Microsoft Power BI. Through case studies, practical assignments, business simulations, technology-based projects, and applied research, students develop the ability to manage organizational resources, analyse business performance, use digital systems, interpret data, make evidence-based decisions, develop business plans, lead teams, and respond effectively to changing business environments. The programme prepares graduates for careers in business management, finance, accounting, marketing, digital marketing, human resources, business development, entrepreneurship, operations, business analytics, ERP and CRM support, non-profit and social enterprise management, as well as further postgraduate study in business administration, management, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, business analytics, and related fields.
Foundation Diploma in Social and Development Studies

The Foundation Diploma in Social and Development Studies introduces students to society, development, poverty, inequality, human rights, livelihoods, community development, and research. Through interdisciplinary learning and practical community-based activities, students develop foundational analytical, research, communication, and problem-solving skills, preparing them for further undergraduate study and meaningful engagement in community development.
